City College’s Commercial Music Assemble will be performing two winter concerts Dec. 7 and Dec. 9 on the Quad.
The Commercial Music Assemble will play hit songs like “Brick House,” “Keep It Hot” and “Incubus”. They will also be performing songs from the 1970s and some blues music. The Commercial Music Assemble, which consists of about 13 people, gives four or five concerts a year and the holiday concert is a yearly event.
Kurt Shiftlet, director of the Commercial Music Assemble and City College music professor, hopes that students attending will have fun while listening to the music.

The first concert will be on Dec. 7 at 12:10 p.m., and the second will be on Dec. 9t at noon. If it is raining, the ensemble will hold performances in the auditorium in A27. The 50-minute concerts are free for everyone.
