A local Screen Actors Guild movie production is looking for over 300 extras to be in the upcoming feature film “Mamaboy.”
“Mamaboy” is a Sacramento-area based comedy about a high school baseball star named Kelly Hankins who, after being the first human in an experiment that transfers embryos to men, becomes pregnant and learns important life lessons in the process.
The film stars Oscar-nominated actor Gary Busey, Disney actors Allie Deberry and Dylan Riley Snyder and social media star Sean O’Donnell.
If you’d like to be apart of the movie, the filmmakers are looking for 18 to 25 year olds who look like they are still in high school. They are also looking for adults to play parents, chaperons, teachers, spectators and town people.
Shooting dates are Oct. 3-15 in Placerville, Shingle Springs, Cameron Park and Rocklin.
