Beatnik Studios on Broadway will be throwing its fourth annual Final Friday art show and concert on Sept. 28.
“Final Friday has a warm clash of culture” says Mindy Giles of Swell Productions, one of the companies presenting the event.
Beatnik Studios is an “unconventional photography studio, art gallery and event space,” according to beatnik-studios.com.
“Final Friday is a really great event,” says Giles. “This event will also include high-class art.”
Final Friday at the studios will feature an art show by Jack Alvarez and Wayne Jiang, along with a concert by World Class Jazz.
Final Friday will have food trucks with food ranging in price from $3 to $10.
The concert and the art show will cost $5 to $10 on a sliding scale basis, meaning that concert-goers on lower incomes can pay less for admission.
The event will take place from 6 p.m. – midnight at Beatnik Studios at 2421 17th St.
