The California Community Colleges are hosting the third annual Undocumented Student Action Week taking place Oct. 14-Oct. 18. City College along with campuses statewide are hosting activities promoting advocacy and action for undocumented students.
“Given the rhetoric at the national level surrounding immigration, we know now more than ever that we must continue to uphold California’s values and offer clear pathways and resources for undocumented students to attain their educational goals,” said California Community Colleges Chancellor Eloy Ortiz Oakley in a press release. “It is imperative that our students know that our campuses remain accessible and open to serving all students equally.”
DREAMers United, the SCC Undocu-Resource Program worked with City College to put together a series of in-person and virtual workshops according to City College Communications and Public Information Officer Kaitlyn MacGregor.
