Vice President of Administration Carrie Bray has been released from the hospital and is recovering at home after sustaining injuries Aug. 24 in a scooter accident.
An update on Bray’s condition was released Aug. 30 by City College Communications and Public Information Officer Kaitlyn MacGregor.
“We received the good news from Carrie that she has been released from the hospital and is at home resting and recovering,” MacGregor wrote. “Carrie expects to be out for at least six weeks as she heals from hip and ankle injuries sustained in the accident.”

Bray’s accident came just 12 days after City College President Gutierrez suffered major injuries in a car collision Aug. 12.
Business Services Supervisor Stephanie Smith will be filling in for Bray as acting vice president of administration, and Administrative Services Analyst Taunya Wattier will be taking over for Smith, according to MacGregor.
The campus community is invited to sign a large card for Bray in the president’s office (RHN 277). Cards can also be dropped off in the president’s office. MacGregor said that they will be collecting donations for meal deliveries for Bray and her family during her recovery.
