The lives of women who have experienced slut shaming will be examined in a film Dec. 2 at City College’s Performance Arts Center.
“UnSlut: A Documentary Film”, directed by Emily Lindin, discusses why sex shaming, especially sexual assault of women and girls, is prevalent across the world. After the screening, Lindin is holding a Q&A session with the audience to talk about the film and how to end sex-bullying in the world.
The event starts at 6 p.m. in the Performance Arts Center Auditorium with an introduction of the documentary followed by the screening and a Q&A with the film director. The event is free for the general public.
