Leah Lentz is a staff writer for the Express. This is her first semester writing for the Express. Leah is interested in covering topics around news impacting the community and sports.
Leah has been drawn to journalism since she was young. Some of her fondest memories from her childhood are opening the Sacramento Bee every morning to check out the sports page. After the 2016 presidential election, she grew interested in journalism's impact on politics. She hopes to bring her passion for finding the truth to her pursuit of a career in journalism.
She plans to transfer to Sacramento State to pursue her bachelor’s degree in journalism.
