Former City College student SiouxBean reaches a career milestone by opening and operating a ceramics studio, called SEED, on 25th Street in Midtown Sacramento. He shared his vision for SEED saying, “The world of clay and ceramics is so vast and so beautiful and for me, I just saw all of the culture and the community in it and I wanted to make something that shared that with everybody.” The ultimate goal of SEED is to create a space where people of all cultural backgrounds, especially those who are Black, Indigenous and people of color, can feel safe to explore the medium of clay.
