“In close games things tighten up. I think the first and foremost was that they pitched really well. Both of their guys were really good, not unbeatable, but they pitched really well and they beat us,” Head Coach Derek Sullivan says about the loss to Folsom Lake. “Could we have responded better here and there? Yeah, in some tense moments we did some things we don’t normally do. And that cost us, but in baseball that is going to happen. They didn’t make mistakes and they beat us. It’s pretty straight up in that regard. They pitched really well tonight and it was going to be hard to win even if we played perfectly.”
