Kelsey Brown is the Express’ news editor for the spring 2020 semester. Brown is a journalism major at City College, and this is her second semester working on the Express.
“I look forward to taking on the responsibility of an editor and working with new journalism students,” said Brown.
After college, she hopes to pursue a successful career in writing. Besides journalism, Brown enjoys creative writing in her off time.
“I love journalism, but there’s a lot more I want to do with writing,” said Brown. “I don’t know if journalism will encompass all of my writing endeavors but I’m glad it’s where I started.”
Until then, as a first-time editor and former staff writer, Brown is excited for this opportunity to further hone her skills on the Express and will be transferring to a four-year university in the fall.
