Witnesses have reported several acts of indecent exposure in October on campus, the most recent being in the parking structure, according to the Los Rios Police Department.

The latest incident was reported by a female student on Oct. 20 at 5:30 p.m. in the parking structure. She witnessed “a man masturbating in the direction of Hughes Stadium,” according to the Los Rios Police crime bulletin.

The witness described the man as an African American male, approximately 5-feet, 7-inches, shoulder-length hair, possibly dreadlocks, wearing prescription glasses and a grey hoodie.

Another report of similar activity was reported to the Los Rios Police. On Oct. 12 at 2:30 p.m., a female student was studying on the third floor of the library studying when she heard a peculiar sound coming from behind the bookshelves.

“She heard a slapping noise and looked over to see that the perpetrator had exposed his penis and was masturbating,” according to the police.

According to The Los Rios crime bulletin, “the culprit was described as being an African American male in his late 20s or early 30s, approximately 5-feet, 6-inches in height, with short hair and a medium build, wearing glasses, a grey short sleeve shirt, and dark colored jeans.”

No suspects have been arrested, and police have not commented if the suspect is the same person in each incident.

The police department has advised students to take precautions such as:
