City College’s Student Services building was burglarized Aug. 28 when suspects broke a window in the front of the lower level and appear to have stolen front-desk computers, according to the Los Rios Police.
“It appears someone threw a rock through the window and stole several computers,” said Los Rios Police Captain Chris Day.
Admissions and Records was closed briefly early this morning once the break-in was discovered, but soon re-opened.
According to Sacramento City College Public Information Officer Rick Brewer, the computers taken where older model laptops.

Campus Operations responded once the break-in was discovered, said Vice President of Administration Services Laduan Smedley. Capital Glass was contacted and took measurements to replace the window.
“A new window is expected to be installed as soon as possible,” said Smedley.
The investigation is still ongoing.
