The Cultural Awareness Center welcomed back Palestinian-American author and poet Remi Kanazi on Feb. 24.
Kanazi returned to City College as part of his book tour for “Before the Next Bomb Drops.” The book discusses his political views through short stories and poems.
When Kanazi was introduced to the world of writing and poetry, he said he moved to New York. Four months later 9/11 happened.
