The Student Associated Council (SAC) and the Student Trustee for the Los Rios Community College District Board of Trustees positions will be decided in the upcoming spring 2014 student elections by student majority vote via eServices April 8-9.
SAC and Student Trustee candidates have just nine day—April 1-9—to convince City College’s student body that they are the best candidates to vote for come election time April 8-9. According to City College’s current Senate Public Relations Secretary and 2014 Student Trustee candidate Gavin Felder, candidates should take campaigning seriously.
“This is considered a local government election,” said Felder.
Candidate forums during the campaign period will give students opportunity to learn who the candidates are, what each stands for, and why each feels they are the person best fit for their running position. Candidate forums take place April 1 and April 3 from noon to 12:50 p.m. in the Quad.
