A female victim reported a sexual battery that occurred on campus at City College to the Los Rios Police Department last week.
According to a crime alert bulletin sent on the City College Exchange listserv by the Los Rios Police Department, the crime happened Oct. 2 at approximately 6:30 p.m. in the Student Center on the northwest side of the building.
Police said the victim reported that the suspect “grabbed her from behind, restrained and fondled her, and then pushed her to the ground.” The suspect fled to the light rail station on foot.

Police describe the suspect as a black adult male with dark complexion, about 25 to 35 years old, standing approximately 6 feet tall and weighing about 200 pounds with a stocky build. The suspect has a clean shaven head with no facial hair. The suspect was last seen wearing a shirt of an unknown color and blue jeans.
