In a continuing effort to help students gain employment, City College’s Career Center invites students to Navigating Career Day March 20 from noon – 1 p.m. in BUS 143.
According to City College career counsel Natasha Vyakhk, Navigating Career Day is one in a series of workshops designed for students preparing to meet perspective employers on campus May 7 during Career Day.
“We hope to get students ready for career day,” said Vyakhk.
Several other workshops are scheduled leading up to Career Day. Each is free to attend and students do not have to bring anything besides themselves, according to Vyakhk. “We even have paper and pens.”
Workshop topics include interviewing, job hunting, resume formatting and networking. Specifically, the series of workshops offered and their dates are as follows:

Each workshop takes place from noon to 1 p.m. Preregistration is required since space can be limited.
