The Sac City Freethinkers club will be having an event that will show people how to be better at arguing on Oct. 18 in the Cultural Awareness Center inside the Student Center.

This event will give students an opportunity to hear a debate and learn a form of arguing that doesn’t present either side as angry at the other.

“It’s a way to state your case in a reasonable way,” said Don Button, faculty adviser of the Sac City Freethinkers.

Button added, “This is less of an argument and more of a debate.”

“This event is for everybody, not just for the club members,” said Button. “We are opening our club meetings to everybody.”
