Meet and greet

City College Theater Department hosts introductory event

Students met up with faculty from the Theater Department to learn about future events and get information on the upcoming theater season Monday, Aug. 31.

Many aspiring actors and students got a chance to meet Luther Hanson, chair of the Theater Department, Doug Lawson, Children’s Theater coordinator, and other faculty of the department.

The event not only detailed what will be going on in the upcoming theater season, it also filled in prospective students on what Theatre Arts classes are open for enrollment, including: Intro to Acting, Multicultural Acting and Acting for Film.
