The Sacramento Regional Transit board voted to increase bus and light rail prices March 14, including the pass used by some City College students.

The regular monthly pass will soon cost $110 instead of the previous $100 price. Because of a contract between Regional Transit and Los Rios, City College students using the monthly pass will pay $55 a month for transportation. Before the price hike, they paid $50 per month for the pass.

Other fare increases include single rides going up to $2.75 and daily passes rising to $7, according to the Sacramento Bee.
