Sucking face: a public taboo

Sucking face has always been an unattractive way to describe two people kissing, but in some cases, it is the only valid way to describe the crime scene.

Public displays of affection, commonly abbreviated as PDA, have become quite an epidemic on college campuses all over the nation, including this one.

Ehow.com came out with a simple five-step process about how to react if you witness over-the-top PDA. It tells readers to do things like turn their backs, advise the couple to get a room, and my favorite, call security.

Everyone has observed couples who take things too far. It starts out with soft nudging, moves on to hand-holding, laughter gets louder, and it becomes obvious which direction the flirty pair are headed. The kissing proceeds and gets intense. Suddenly, everyone wonders if they should let the couple have the cafeteria to themselves.

Guilty of PDA performances myself, I can say that in the moment it seemed as though no one was bothered or offended. In the passion of the moment I had no clue what was going on in the outside world. But now I realize that the population that is still breathing and not stuck in a whirlwind of limbs, saliva and hormones is not amused.

“PDA is like drugs. Small doses do the trick. But if you over-do it, you end up looking bad and people say bad things about you.” said Shaye Quam, a Sierra College student.
If this doesn’t work, the doctor could recommend intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection, it is the advanced treatment process which ensures to develop an embryo in woman’s womb cheap viagra from uk through ICSI process. These days, more and more people are sildenafil online canada opting to Buy Kamagra medicines. The body and mind are both nurtured viagra prescriptions online in this way. Thus, you will find the medicine with the lowest cost https://www.regencygrandenursing.com/long-term-care/respiratory-care uk viagra online with the other company.
There is nothing wrong with showing affection in public. Having a strong connection with someone is special, and people have the right to show the world how they feel. However, there is something wrong with being flat- out rude in a public setting and not keeping it G-rated.

College campus or not, there are little kids around, and they can’t ignore PDA the way a fellow student or teacher can attempt to. As adults, we need to be conscious of others. Unlike high school, the idea that everything revolves around us is no longer an excuse.

Tom Pederson, a satirical columnist, wrote an article about PDA on helium.com.

“One thing leads to the next, and now you’re engaged in a passionate game of tonsil hockey,” said Pederson. “If this is familiar, then most likely I hate you.”

Beware, PDA lovers. He isn’t the only one.

The bottom line is, if you give respect, you get respect. Feel free to express yourself, but try to use a little self control once in a while.
