Folsom Lake College’s Disabled Students Programs and Services is holding its 8th Annual Disability Awareness Art Show Nov. 5 and are asking for submissions.
The invite for submissions is for all Los Rios Community College District students with disabilities. The DSPS is trying to spread the word on its “Call to Art,” encouraging students to submit all forms of visual art in digital format by the Oct. 15 deadline.
There is $500 worth of stipends given away to the top three winners, which include Best of Show and two honorable mentions. The reception for the scholarships is on Nov. 5 from 5 — 7:30 p.m. at Folsom Lake College. Students from all four colleges are invited.
