City College has a lasting tradition of excelling in athletics. That traditioncontinued last week when City College announced the 2009 athletics Hall of Fame honorees:

These athletes and administrators join a respected group of City College
alumni, which includes Larry Bowa, current third-base coach for the Los Angeles Dodgers and two-time Super Bowl starter, tight end Robert Awalt.
A ceremony will take place at the Dante Club on April 17 at 6 p.m.
