City College’s Student Senate invites all to join the March in March 2014 to rally for higher education reform on the Capitol’s west steps March 3.
Thousands from college campuses across California will gather at Raley Field and march to the Capitol’s west steps Monday in effort to show state Legislature that students and their education matter, that educational costs matter and that, come November, students’ votes will especially matter.
The Student Senate invites students to gather on campus at the fountain in front of the Performing Arts Center (PAC) Monday from 8–8:30 a.m., and then proceed to the light rail station from 9–9:30 a.m. At that time, participants may choose to board one of two trains. Those marching from Raley Field will take the earlier train; protestors going directly to the Capitol will take the later.
