City College will be hosting the 18th annual transfer day event in the Quad from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Oct. 9.
According to the transfer center, this will be the biggest transfer day of the year at City College, with more than 60 colleges and universities represented. Several CSU campuses, including Bakersfield, Northridge, Sacramento, and East Bay, will be speaking to students about transferring, plus several out-of-state institutions like University of Nevada, Reno.
The event is open to all City College students, and students not currently eligible for transfer are encouraged to gather information early and plan ahead.
“If you are not able to attend this event on campus, the Transfer Center on campus is a helpful way on getting students on track to transferring to other schools,” said counseling clerk Lolita Juliana Singleton.
The Transfer Center, in Rodda Hall North room 147, provides information to help students select a campus and complete all requirements at City College to transfer. The center has computers for organizing and sending applications.
