As a part of the second annual Disability Awareness Art Week, Folsom Lake College’s Disabled Student Services and Programs office is hosting an art contest for disabled students.
The art week will be held from Oct. 26 through 30 and submissions for the contest will be accepted until Oct. 10, at 5 p.m.

This year’s event will feature paintings, sculptures, drawings and digital media, according to a news release.
The event will conclude with stipends awarded for the top three submissions, and Best in Show will be awarded $300, according to the release.
