The City College women’s soccer team walked away with a impressive, hard-fought victory over Shasta College on Sept. 14, winning by a final score of 4 to 0.

Both teams fought back and forth during the first half. Both teams were scoreless and tied at zero. The second half was a different story with the Panthers coming alive and scoring four goals en route to their victory.

The Panthers walked away with their second win of the season and defender Brieana Lopez was just one player who enjoyed the feeling of victory.

“It feels pretty good. We’re on a roll,” said Lopez after the game.

Although Head Coach Jang-Ah Oh enjoyed the team’s victory, he said there are always parts of the game that the team can improve on.
