Reedley was able to score in the second inning off an RBI single, but was stopped from doing any real damage in the inning.
The bottom of the third inning came with a bit of confusion when what seemed like an RBI triple for outfielder Christian Bracero was called an automatic double when the ball went under the outfield fence.
The bases were loaded in the third, when third baseman Jerrod Bravo hit a two-RBI single, bringing the score to 2-1 at the end of the third.
After three innings of play, Coach Derek Sullivan went to the bullpen and brought in pitcher Dom Campodonico.
