The job market is growing and getting better but people still struggle to find jobs in the sluggish market. For students interested in finding a job or potential careers, City College will host the 41st annual Career Day on campus Wednesday, April 18.
Career Day will take place on the quad from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for any and all who are interested in meeting with more than 30 companies expected to be in attendance.
“Career Day is full of potential job opportunities,” said Tracy Hodge, Career Center student personnel assistant. Companies and agencies expected to set up booths in the quad include Burger Rehabilitation, the United States Army, California Conservation Corps, END 107.9 radio, and Synectic Technologies, to name a few.
According to Hodge, Career Day is an excellent opportunity for students to meet with potential employers and begin the process of networking to find a career.
