City College’s Writing Center is currently accepting student reading and writing lab tutor applications for the fall 2021 semester. Student tutors will work remotely rather than in person due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The deadline to apply for a tutoring position is Aug. 15.

According to Lab Manager Ashley Lanham, the Reading and Writing Lab helps students improve their writing skills and reading comprehension and provides individual assistance from tutors through one-on-one, 55-minute sessions.

City College tutors earn $14 an hour.
