A: It is pretty hard sometimes handling my classes, work and trying to remain focused on basketball, so I tend to do a lot of my class work and studying on the weekends. A: I thoroughly enjoy our coaching staff. Our coaches work diligently to make sure that we stay on point as a team. Even if it means drawing it out, reenacting a drill, or staying late, our coaches do very

Q: How are you preparing for the second half of the season?
A: We are working hard on the things we already know and implementing some new things into our game plan. We are also focusing on playing well together and playing at a high level on defense. We also work on our physical conditioning to remain in shape.
Q: How are you preparing as a team differently this year than last year?
A: Well I didn’t play on the team last year, but from what I can discern, players have been given a bigger share of decision making on the court. Much emphasis has been put on playing aggressive at the defensive end as well. Communication has also been a large focus.

A: On average we practice five days a week for at least three hours. Pretty much the only time we don’t practice is on the weekends and on game nights.

A: My favorite memory thus far has to be the scrimmage we played this season against DeAnza College. We won the game strongly and our team was firing on all cylinders. It was a good thing to be a part of.
Q: What are your plans after graduating from college?
A: My plans after college include becoming a sports writer or analyst. Working in the world of sports interests me a lot and I think it would be enjoyable as a profession.
