City College will play host Oct. 21 to a Bay Area-based independent journalist working for Al Jazeera English.

Charlotte Silver, who used to live in West Bank, Palestine, is a frequent contributor for Al Jazeera English and “Electronic Intifada.” In addition, she is also a contributor to “Gaza Unsilenced,” an anthology of stories from people inside and outside the Gaza Strip.
