Los Rios campus Pride Centers host ‘The Big Queer Welcome’

The Los Rios campus Pride Centers are inviting all students who identify as LGBTQ, intersex, asexual or as Two-Spirit (meaning those who occupy a third, distinct gender in Native American communities) to “The Big Queer Welcome” Zoom event this Tuesday, Sept. 14, at noon, according to a recent Cityscape email. 

Los Rios welcomes back its queer community this semester with a collaborative Zoom meeting that includes all of the Los Rios campus Pride Centers: City College Pride center, ARC Pride Center, CRC Pride Center and FLC’s Equity Center, the email said. The event will discuss and give clarity to the ways in which all of Los Rios’ campus Pride Centers will support and provide further resources to LGBTQ students.

The hosts will also cover future and upcoming events for the community, according to City College’s Pride Center’s webpage.
