Patricio Hernandez is the news editor and writer for the Express. This is his second semester with the Express. His reporting interests include local news events that relate to students and staff on campus.
Patricio’s interest for news sparked at a very young age after watching the Sept. 11th attacks unfold that Tuesday morning before heading off to school. Since then, he developed a desire to be curious on current events and became a news junkie. His plan is not to know what’s going on in his backyard, but to share information with others that impacts their community.
In Patricio’s free time he enjoys trying new restaurants, day trips to the Bay Area, going to concerts and watching local news in other cities on his phone. As Patricio’s last semester at City College approaches, he hopes to continue his journalism education at Annenberg School for Communication and journalism at the University of Southern California.
