Manuel Figueroa is a staff photographer for the Express. This is his third semester photographing for the Express. His interests lie in photography and covering various sports, concerts and other entertainment events. 

His interest in photography comes from his grandpa who was always taking photos, and owned various cameras along with movies and video games that featured photography. His inspiration for photographing sports comes from watching lots of Mixed Martial Arts over the years, where 

photographer Esther Lin captured amazing moments throughout the fights. His hopes are to capture moments that display the various actions and emotions during sporting events. 

His other various passions and hobbies include landscape photography, playing video games, listening to music, attending concerts, hiking and most recently building a vinyl collection.
