Te’Lajha Williams is a staff writer for the Express. This is her first semester writing for the Express. She reports on sports events, social events and current events in the community. 

Te’Lajha’s passion for creative writing dates back to her childhood, growing up in Sacramento, CA, where she began reading as a hobby, and as she got older, began taking an interest in sports and true crime. Writing as an outlet for creativity takes Te’Lajha on a quest to explore various subjects, and allows readers to get a peek into her mind. 

Te’Lajha is a self-proclaimed foodie and would love to dabble in the culinary arts. She plans to transfer to a university in Southern California to pursue her Bachelor of Arts in journalism.
