The Student Senate for Community College Classes (SSCCC) hosted its annual “March in March” on Thursday, March 12 in Sacramento to protect student rights and advocate for faculty to receive fair pay and guaranteed job security. The march gathered a large crowd of students, faculty and other attendees who marched from the Southside Park to the west steps of the State Capitol.
The annual event attracts people from all over the state that come to participate or to represent their schools and believe that the march will help students and faculty thrive.

David Greaves is a staff photographer for the Express. This is his second semester working for the Express and he is interested in photography, specifically in fashion and people.Since childhood, growing up in California, David has been around cameras and photographers. David spent a summer working for a photo exhibit, which inspired him to pursue photography. He has always liked going to photo shoots or interviews and finds pleasure in taking high-quality photos. David aspires to inspire people through his photos and tell stories with his images.After high school, David plans to attend a 4-year university to pursue a higher education.
