Rose Vega is a current journalism student and the spring 2019 features editor for the Express. Vega spent one semester at CSU Stanislaus, then continued her journalistic aspirations here at City College. She has been studying journalism and writing for the Express since 2017. Vega has been published twice in City College’s Mainline magazine, and looks to bring her experience writing features to the Express. Vega’s main goal this semester is to help new writers.
“I think what’s really fun about being an editor is seeing either people who haven’t written before or those who are getting back into it and watching them develop,” she says.
