Meet your Express Editors: Nita Gardipee, News Editor
Nita Gardipee, 28, is the News Editor at the Sac City Express. She was born and raised in Montana. Her love of journalistic writing began in high school where she was a reporter for her school paper.
“I have always enjoyed the written word and communicating,” Gardipee says. She loves the community and belonging that that comes along with her role at The Express.
When Gardipee isn’t writing articles for The Express or keeping up with her lifestyle blog, she is successfully running her own makeup and organic spray tanning business.
In Fall of 2019, Gardipee will be transferring to the University of Hawaii at Hilo where she will be continuing her degree in Marine Biology with a minor in Gender and Women’s Studies. She currently enjoys living in Sacramento with her husband and their three dogs.
