Will Oxman is a staff writer for the Express. This is his first semester writing for the Express. He loves to write about all things within popular culture, specifically sports, music, events and politics at both the local and national levels.

Growing up, Will spent a lot of time doing a variety of different things on the internet, always trying to stay informed on as many topics as possible, which is what inspired him to pursue journalism.  He reads many stories and stays informed on different topics. He thinks that most mainstream media sources tend to have a bias with their reporting. This inspired will to pursue journalism further, as he wants to be able to provide a truly honest, unbiased source that reports all the news going on, not just the news that fits certain narratives.

Will grew up playing baseball for more than 15 years, which sparked his passion for sports writing. He plans to transfer to Sacramento State after this semester to pursue his bachelor’s degree in journalism.
