The Chicano/Latino Student Welcome event will be held noon to 1:30 p.m. this Thursday, Sept. 4., in the Student Center on campus.
The event is sponsored by the City College Chicano/Latino Faculty and Staff Association and the Cultural Awareness Center.
“The Latino Faculty and Staff Association is committed to providing students the knowledge, personal attributes and skills to succeed at SCC and to fully live and work in a diverse world,” said Learning Resources Division Dean Rhonda Rios Kravitz. “The Latino Student Welcome is designed to showcase and celebrate our students as well as our faculty and staff.”
