Fall is here, which means Hughes Stadium will be busy with football and soccer all semester long, and the games begins tonight, the first Friday of the high school football season.

Sacramento Bee’s No. 18 ranked Christian Brothers high school looks to start off the season with a victory over River City High School of West Sacramento. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. at Hughes Stadium.

If you miss this game, don’t worry, because Hughes Stadium is the home of the Christian Brothers Falcons, and the team will play six more games, including the local classic Holy Bowl versus Jesuit High School.

Here is a list of home games at Hughes Stadium for the Falcons:

  • Aug. 28: vs. River City High school
  • Sept. 4: vs. Laguna Creek High school
  • Sept. 12: vs. Jesuit High School (Holy Bowl)
  • Sept. 19: vs. CK McClatchy High School
  • Sept. 25: vs. Rosemont High School
  • Oct. 10: vs. Mira Loma High School
