The City College Astronomy Department will host an Open Observatory night sky-viewing Oct. 4 at 8 p.m.

This free event is open to the public. Attendees wishing to view through the telescope must be over the age of 6.

Open Observatory is a reoccurring event scheduled to take place the first Friday of each month through May 2014. The observatory is located in the Rodda South building on the third floor.
