Palestinian poet to speak 3-26

Poet, writer and activist Remi Kanazi will be speaking March 26 at the City College Cultural Awareness Center.

According to the Cultural Awareness Center staff, Kanazi’s content is geared toward the problems and injustices of Palestine. “Poetic Injustice” is Kanazi’s most recent release and he was the editor of “Poets of Palestine”.

Kanazi is a Palestinian freelance writer based in New York City who travels the world to share his political commentary through America and parts of the world such as the United Kingdom and the Middle East.

Kanazi has also been featured on programs such as Grit TV and BBC Radio.

Kanazi will speak twice in one day at the Cultural Awareness Center on March 26, 9 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 2:50 p.m.
