City College baseball Panthers rumbled with the Sierra College Wolverines, March 12 at Union Stadium for their first conference game of the season. The Panthers lost their first conference game 2-1.

During the fourth inning, Sierra College managed to score one run, leaving City College concerned.

Between the fifth and six innings, the Panthers gained some momentum, striking out the Wolverine batters within ten minutes.
