New financial aid database to help SCC students better access eServices

New financial aid database to help SCC students better access eServices

A new eServices feature from PeopleSoft, which took effect April 11, will make it easier for students to view their financial and enrollment information, according to Financial Aid supervisor Rukiya Bates.

The use of a new financial aid database will combine Admissions and Records data with data for Business Services. This will make it convenient for students to view all their financial information and enrollment needs on eServices, Bates said in a campus email. Students can also access their financial aid messages through eServices.

The Financial Aid Office and its staff will begin to process financial aid for the 2016-17 year using the new feature in PeopleSoft,  while also working with the current database, PowerFaids, for the remainder of spring and summer 2016.
