A large crowd filled the streets of downtown Sacramento on Nov. 19; sifting through vintage clothing, testing out food vendors and checking shoes for authenticity. This was no average Sunday morning. This was the World’s Worst Expo.
Once a month the vintage thrifting brand World’s Worst hosts an event called World’s Worst Expo on I and 11th street in downtown Sacramento. At the November expo, over 200 vendors displayed thrifted, vintage and upcycled clothes. In addition to the clothes there was an array of shoes, old and new, many sponsored by local stores and brands. Food trucks fueled attendees as they went about their shopping.
