SCC weekly police log highlights Nov. 1-20

Assault on Campus:

A student reported to campus police that another student slapped him on the stomach, there were no serious injuries on Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Incident in Parking Lot H:

A suspicious occupied vehicle was parked near parking lot H. The driver of the vehicle was given a citation for misuse of a disabled placard on Tuesday, Nov.5.

Vandalism:

Vandalism was reported to campus police near the 12th Avenue exit. No further information is available on Monday, Nov. 9.

Theft on Campus:

An incident of petty theft was reported to campus police at the Administration of Justice building on Monday, Nov. 9.

Hit and Run:

Campus police responded to a non-injury collision that occurred in parking lot F on Tuesday, Nov. 10. Information was exchanged and no charges are being pressed.

Suspicious Flyers:

Campus police responded to a suspicious person believed to be responsible for putting fliers on vehicles On Tuesday Nov.10.

An intruder alarm went off in the Business Building on Monday Nov. 16 at 11:50 p.m. The alarm was triggered by staff.

Arson on Campus:

A garbage can was lit on fire and put out by staff, campus police searched and cleared the surrounding area on Wednesday Nov. 18.

Suspicious Sleeper:

A suspicious person was reported to campus police on Friday Nov. 20. Upon checking out said suspicious person, the student was simply sleeping in the Learning Resource Center.
