    SCC VOCALe choir to take part in SacSings! choral festival

    SCC VOCALe choir to take part in SacSings! choral festival

    VOCALe, City College’s top vocal choral ensemble, will perform April 24 as part of the SacSings! choral festival in the Performing Arts Center.  

    SacSings! is a two-day event April 23-24 that will feature 20 choruses from the Sacramento Valley area, according to the SacSings! website. The Performing Arts Center will host four different concerts for this event, each with five groups performing. VOCALe will be one of the five choruses singing for the second Sunday concert at 7:30 p.m.

    Directed by City College voice and choral professor Daniel Paulson, the VOCALe ensemble is organized by the City College music department, according to a flier. It will perform in the PAC Main Theater at 7:30 p.m. City College will also host the other three concerts April 23 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and April 24 at 2 p.m.
