Panthers lose close game; Football loses 2nd straight, falling to 2-2

The City College Panthers football team lost a close game to the Santa Rosa Bear Cubs Sept. 24 by a score of 17-14.

Sophomore running back Tyree Hanson continued to grind for the Panther offense, finishing with 97 yards and a score. Freshman wide receiver Jordan Moore led all receivers with five receptions for an outstanding 128 yards. His longest reception was a 58-yard pass from quarterback Justin Yeaton.
