Discover UC Davis event brings information to transfer students

City College students interested in transferring to UC Davis are invited to attend a free event on Friday, March 16, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at UC Davis that is designed to help students become more acquainted with the university and to learn about admissions and transfer requirements.

This no-cost event includes a continental breakfast and lunch and is filled with programs and resources aimed to give transfer students any information they need to continue their education at UC Davis. A student-led walking campus tour will give prospective transfers a first-hand glimpse of what it’s like to be a UC Davis student.

Student panel discussions will be available to hear from current students who can answer questions and offer insight into campus life as well as their own experiences as transfer students.
Students will have an opportunity to meet with UC Davis representatives from:

  • Academic Colleges
  • Financial Aid
  • Pre-professional programs
  • Transfer Reentry Veterans Center
  • Undergraduate Admissions
  • Undergraduate Research Center
